I'm a NYC born, Israel based artist, working mainly in figurative drawing and painting. I'm inspired by the contradictions and strange juxtapositions that surround us in our everyday lives. I start out with stories and images, either personal or shared, that I find peculiar or amusing, ranging from my own family albums to concepts appropriated from trends in consumerist popular culture.

The new compositions I build with them include elements of fantasy and express my fascination with fluidity and transformations - of objects, landscapes, of myself and of other people. This combination is my way of reaching the subliminal, what cannot be described with words or experienced in “real life”.

I see myself as a storyteller of incomplete narratives and unorganized storylines. My work aims to create open-ended tales that invite the viewer to day-dream. It explores hidden cultural and societal undercurrents, particularly those that challenge conventional norms regarding gender and sexuality.
